Baby’s First Food - The Complete Guide to Starting Solids

When it's time to start with introducing your baby's first food, you're probably going to have a lot of questions - from how to know when your baby is ready, when to start, what to start with, to how to actually do it and much more. In this video you'll learn all of the essentials to help make the process of starting solids with your baby much easier.

When your baby is ready for you to start introducing solids, they'll show some key signs that will help let you know that it's time to start. Then once you're ready to start, you'll need to consider the method you're going to use. There's baby led weaning (BLW), spoon feeding, or a combination approach. There's quite a bit of debate between advocates of each approach, but all are appropriate and it just depends on what works best for you.

Once you've chosen a method for introducing your baby's first food, it's important to have the right equipment, which you'll also learn about in the video.

You'll also learn tips for safety when feeding solids to babies, and how to deal with things like mess and babies who don't want to eat solids right away.

I hope you enjoy this one!
